If you have NEVER entered a cake decorating competition before you should be in this division. You will learn so much and have a fantastic time and you will get bit by the competition bug! Come have fun with us!

Adult Beginner: We believe these are cake artists with two years or less of sugar art experience. These beginner decorators can be self taught or have less than 30 hours of instruction in cake decorating.

Adult Intermediate: These decorators are reasonably skilled with two-four years of actual decorating experience. Usually more than 30 hours but less than 60 hours of cake decorating or sugar art instruction. If you decorate throughout the year, but are not getting paid or are still taking classes this is your division.

Adult Advanced: If you have more advanced skills with four-six years of actual decorating and sugar art experience this is where you belong. These decorators have more than 60 hours of cake decorating or sugar art instruction. Are you starting to get paid for your work? Do you bake every weekend. This division is for you.

Professional: Do you sell your cakes? Do you work in bakery? Are your skills amazing and do you have a high level of skill? Typically these decorators have more than six years decorating experience / more than 90 hours decorating instruction.

Masters: Here our experts in Cake Decorating have mastered specific mediums and techniques. These decorators may be an author, instructor, or work in a sugar art business. Typically more than 120 hours of cake decorating or sugar art instruction. Please enter as many categories in the division you believe you belong in, but please only enter once per category so that you do not compete against yourself.
